What if I don't know where the other parent is?

This is very common in the adoptions we help families complete. When the other parent's location is unknown, they are served by "publication" — a legal notice published in a newspaper. We include the publication documents in your package and help you through this process. It's fairly simple and the court is very familiar with it.
