In Virginia, stepparent adoptions are filed in Circuit Court. The specific court location depends on which counties/citie you live in.

How to find your court:

1. Determine which counties/citie you live in (your home address determines this)

2. Find the Circuit Court for that counties/citie

3. File your petition at that courthouse
